Quatuor Eclisses Live Concert!

I'm so happy to announce that I have a chance to watched Quatuor Eclisses concert in Sheraton's Hotel and Towers ballroom last night. This is a rare opportunity for sure, because not everyday I can watch a classical concert in luxurious place with affordable price, only 50k rupiah you know. It's matched with students budget.

Quatuor Eclissess is a guitar quartet from France that launched 2012 and consist of 4 master guitarists from Conservatoire de Paris. 

Their performance was amazing. Their guitars sound like piano, very clear and divine. I never heard guitar's sound as clear as their's. If they have another performance in Indonesia, I'll damn sure will come.

The Script- Breakeven

Before you read this lyric. You should know me that I'm not the person who so updated with new song and many things. My goals in here are, I want to share the song that i like and telling my feeling about the song.
Breakeven is one of the best song I liked from The Script, an Irish band. It tells about the break of relationship. However, this song is really have a 'happy' tone, so you will not know if the content is so gloomy.

This is one of my favorite music pieces from Les Miserables movie directed by Tom Hooper. Les Miserables movie is adapted from Les Misetables novel, at the same tittle by Victor Hugo that published in 19 century and take setting on 18th century.

Pengen beli saxophone namun nggak ada budget? Sudah tahu kalau ternyata sisir bisa bersuara seperti saxophone? Aku juga baru tahu hari ini waktu ada temen-temen 21 PM berlatih di kamarku. Berbekal sisir sama plastic saja, kamu udah bisa ngeluarin suara malaikat untuk mengiringi lagu. Pake sisir yang biasa yang kecil-kecil kemudian bungkus dengan plastic. Setelah itu, tinggal tiup dengan suaramu menggunakan suara falsetto. Jadinya? Keren banget! Meskipun begitu, aku belum pernah mencoba, jadi aku kurang tahu bagaimana lebih lanjutnya. I think this is his best song--maybe because I can relate to some of it. This is just my interpretation. It may not fit with other parts of the song, but...


The first stanza in particular hit me really hard the other day. I'm dealing with a lot of personal issues right now, and it's made me wonder if any man will ever love me enough--despite how messed-up I am--to "help me on my feet again" and give me what I've wanted for so long. "Take me where I've never been"... I've never felt that way for anyone, or vice versa, and I want it so badly. And "show me that good things come to those who wait" is a beautiful line. So many people wait for years to find love, and it gets discouraging when it doesn't come. You want to know that the pain is worth it.


"Save me from myself" is knowing that you're not helping yourself out of this difficult situation--in my case, depression and not being able to love myself. Only a loved one can make you feel validated and help you realize your potential.


"No one's ever done this / Everything was just a lie" is my absolute favorite part of the song. Over the last few months, I've basically stopped believing in love because it all seems like a lie; like a fantasy that will never be real.


So, to wrap it up: I think the main theme of the song is that he wants to experience love, to know that it's real, and he knows this person can make that happen as well as pull him out of his doubt.


Sorry if it seems like I'm just venting about my own life. I just hope my thoughts bring new insight to someone else.

Taylor Swift - Safe and Sound

This is the lyric of Safe and Sound that sung by Taylor Swift. This song is really great pieces and this is the theme for The Hunger Games movie which i like so much. I learn to play this song with violin. I have a plan to make a duet with my junior who great in guitar. I hope this is can be my birthday present.

These lyrics told us so much about The Hunger Games. If you already read the book, you'll know that this song is really matched with the story. This is ballad and tell you from the beginning of the novel until the end. From the start when Katniss volunteering the 74th Hunger Games to save her sister life from death. But it can be interpret as a love story between Katniss and Peeta. I wrong if i say this is only about love. This is about belief and hope, love and death and how a hope can make you survive.

I really want to cry after read the book and watching the movie. But unfortunately I can't cry. I just hope I'll cry in dream.
